Medley of Masters Mural

I was given the opportunity to mosaic my first mural by Paula Farrar at Piney Hollow Art Studio in Hammonton, NJ. Standing in her restroom (yes that is where this mural resides) she gave me a few ideas and cut me loose. This was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences in my mosaic journey, so far.

It started with Van Gogh's Sunflowers and the Starry Night sky. We IMAGINEd a variety of artists and Salvator Dali's face was all I could envision. The concept of Dali watering Van Gogh's flowers while they effortlessly floated up to the crescent moon seemed poetic to me.

May the many artists who DARE enter the walls of this quaint art studio be INSPIREd to CREATE, DREAM and BELIEVE in the master artists who have preceded them.
